A wish that may, a wish that might, a wish that did come true.
Scrunched eyes, deepened breathing, glow pulsing with his chest, the little star’s outline flickered as he reached into the cavity that held his spark. Cradling his light, he let it go with a kiss, glittering cloud surrounding him. And so he fell, solid and human and a star no more.
I love how you condensed this. It works well this short due the delightful imagery and the concept of the wishing star becoming human. Seemingly in this piece granting his own wish.
